Another Notch on Berry’s Belt
Eric Berry has received yet another honor this year, as today he was awarded a spot on the AP All-American Team. This marks the fifth All-American team Berry has made this year. He’s on his way to being the first Tennessee player since offensive lineman Antone Davis in 1990 to make every NCAA recognized All-American team.
Berry was the only Vol to make first team AP All-American, but there were a total of eight players from the SEC awarded spots. For a full rundown on the entire AP All-American team, check out ESPN.com
While I’m on the subject of Eric Berry, doctors reported that the arthroscopic surgery performed on his left shoulder was a success, and he should be limited in spring practice, but back to full speed by next fall.
